About

Chuck Furuya Uncorked started as a vision between father & son. Using wine as a tool to connect generations, our zoom, turned podcast, turned Youtube series has bridged gaps and provided a humble experience in tasting and education. Our goal is to get past the intimidating nuances of wine and center ourselves in true enjoyment!

This small team of ours has made many new friends along the way. Please join us on this wine journey as we connect and present insights through a new lens of visual storytelling. Mahalo nui loa for your support.

Kale’s vision for the Chuck Furuya Uncorked series includes exploring all that wine and food have to offer while championing the narrative of supporting local talent and products.

Chuck Furuya

In late 1980’s Chuck Furuya became one of the first in the United States to pass the rigorous Master Sommelier examination. Educating people about wine and discovering new talent is what brings him the most satisfaction. “I love finding new wines, especially great values. I love pairing wines with foods. But most of all I love teaching.”
